A joint venture between the Boelwerf and the Cigrang families in 1969, Bocimar was established to focus on transporting coal, ore and grain in the Atlantic Ocean. Under the direction of Jacques Saverys, Bocimar soon expanded to provide worldwide transportation of all dry goods.
